Green Eggs & Ham

-Demo Reel-

I had the opportunity to build the 3D pipeline at the studio I worked with, helping bridge the gap between traditional 2D animation and complex 3D elements. I produced a variety of assets: including vehicles, gadgets, and character props that needed to seamlessly integrate into the show’s hand-drawn visual style, where animation was traditionally done on twos.

Many of these animated objects in Season 2 presented unique challenges that couldn’t be efficiently achieved with 2D alone. My work often handled intricate elements and demanding camera movements that would otherwise be too complex for the 2D Team to practically handle.

I was not only responsible for modelling, shading, rigging and animation, but also the matchmoving and compositing into the 2D scenes themselves.

The main programs I used were Maya (and it’s MASH system), Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter and Toon Boom Harmony.
