Tasked with supporting the art direction for sample assets and developing a proof of concept to establish the style breakdown using Toonlight. My responsibilities included creating the final character passes, handling shading/lighting, and producing some environmental assets for the background sets.
PROGRAMS USED:
3D Environment assets were prepared using Substance Painter, Maya and Blender, then brought into the Unity Engine.
The 2D Animation was processed through our Toonlight system and these stylized samples played a pivotal role in the show development of Angry Birds: Summer Madness, directly contributing to its greenlighting. The look we established during this phase carried through and remained consistent in the Netflix production that aired thereafter – trailers down below.
